Clinical Educator Is responsible for bridging educational needs with clinical performance for all staff as well as accepting responsibilities in the clinical and administrative setting; interfacing effectively with all departments; coordinating and implementing new employee orientation, developing and delivering a comprehensive plan for meeting the educational needs of the hospital staff to enhance, promote, and maintain competency as well as high standards in staff professional growth and quality patient care; provides customer service to patients, families, visitors, physicians, coworkers, and other medical/non-medical personnel.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Nursing Degree (BSN preferred); maintain a current Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia. At least 5 years inpatient nursing experience required. Be certified to perform BLS, ACLS, or PALS preferred; Pass Medication Administrative tests with a score of 90 or greater; teaching experience required and comfort in working with computer systems.
