A certified phlebotomist is responsible for phlebotomy procedures including: regular venipuncture and capillary blood collections from all ages. Phlebotomists may also assist nursing in line draws. Direct supervision is not required for specimen processing or performance of venipuncture. This position does not report patient test results.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Graduate of an accredited Phlebotomy program preferred, high school diploma or GED.
Credential Required: Certification from a recognized agency (ASPT, etc.)
