The Office Specialist is responsible for coordinating communications occurring at the clinic: responsible for the paperwork involved with transcription of orders, registering patients, receives supervision from Practice Manager, Office Coordinator and Clinical Staff. Keep up with new and changing insurance matters. Will work closely with patient assess at the hospital to keep up with current guidelines in the registration process. Provide customer service to patient's families, visitors, physicians, coworkers, and other medical and non-medical personnel.
Qualifications: Be a high school graduate or equivalent, one year of hospital or physician practice experience preferred, C.N.A. or Medical Assistance diploma preferred. Must have the ability to handle and operate equipment required and complete department forms correctly.
